November 20th marks as an important day for all of us as we celebrate the International Children’s Day. On this date in 1959, the UN General Assembly adopted the Declaration of the Rights of the Child and adopted the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
The International Children’s Day offers each of us an inspirational entry point to advocate, promote and celebrate children’s rights so as to build a better world for our children.
PETRONITA in collaboration with PETROSAINS held a special programme to celebrate this auspicious day with 60 children from Baitul Hasanah, Charis Home and Mary’s Home.One of the PETROSAINS activities is "Thinkering Program" where the children need to produce a product from object given.
We would like to thank Fatin for leading this programme, Puan Lita & Puan Habibah for supporting us on this event on behalf of PETRONITA Main Committee and lastly to our PETRONITA volunteers (including Hafiz) for their participation and dedication to make this event a success.
